Seal is returning to music later this year with his new album Seal 6: Commitment. The album, will revolve around various emotions related to love, family, and commitment. “When all things in your life begin to align in the way they have for me over the past few years, you become incredibly focused,” said Seal in a statement. “I love a challenge, and this for me, has been the greatest challenge of my career: to write an album that exceeds my own expectations.” Seal 6: Commitment will be released on September 28.

Following his second DUI arrest, actor Chris Klein voluntarily checked into a treatment facility, and after more than 30 days, has decided to extend his stay, according to his rep. “Chris, along with his support team, has decided to extend his treatment. He is doing fantastic and is optimistic about his future. He thanks everyone for their continued support,” his rep Jaime Primak says. While the duration of Klein’s treatment is unknown, he will remain at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, where he has been since June 21.
Skeptics, take notice: This breakup is for real. Almost two months after Heidi Montag went to court seeking legal separation from husband Spencer Pratt, the reality starlet filed for divorce. Montag, 23, cites the usual irreconcilable differences in the divorce petition filed in Santa Monica, Calif., Superior Court. “Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt,” Montag’s lawyer Jodeane Farrell tells PEOPLE. “The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce.”
Rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) and longtime girlfriend, singer and BET reality star Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, tied the knot at a Miami Beach court. They’ll repeat their vows in an elaborate ceremony in three cities, a rep for the couple tells UsMagazine.com exclusively. The couple will wed again Saturday in front of close family and friends (including Tiny’s BET costar Antonia “Toya” Carter) on a small private island off the coast of Miami Saturday. Tiny will wear Valentino. They plan on returning to their hometown of Atlanta for a reception Saturday afternoon before jetting off to Las Vegas to celebrate with friends into the wee hours. They are returning to Atlanta early next week.
After days of furious rumors, Fox just made it official: Ellen DeGeneres’ much-criticized tenure as the fourth judge on “American Idol” has sputtered to an end after just one season, with the show in the midst of a massive overhaul. In a news release, DeGeneres said she told the producers a couple of months ago that the show “didn’t feel like the right fit for me,” partly because of increased work commitments elsewhere, including her popular daytime talk show. But “I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings,” she added. LA Times |
