Alicia Silverstone has given birth to her first child by husband Christopher Jarecki. The happy couple took a strange turn naming the 7 pound 15 ounce little boy Bear Blu Jarecki.
“Mom and Dad are completely in love” with their “beautiful baby boy,” the rep added.
Before revealing in January that she was expecting, the actress gushed about always wanting to become a mother.
“I’ve been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old – I’m destined to be a mother,” she said last year.
Silverstone, 34, and Jarecki, 40, the frontman for the punk group S.T.U.N., wed in Lake Tahoe in 2005 after eight years together.
