Bristol Palin isn’t dancing around the rumor anymore: She’s got a book deal.
The oldest daughter of onetime Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Bristol will release her memoir “Not Afraid of Life” this summer, according to publisher William Morrow.
The book will give readers “an inside look at her life,” Morrow announced in a statement on Tuesday.
“Bristol gives readers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at her life for the first time, from growing up in Alaska to coming of age amid the media and political frenzy surrounding her mother’s political rise; from becoming a single mother while still a teenager to coping as her relationship with her baby’s father crumbled publicly – not once, but twice,” the statement read.
Bristol, 20, will also cover “the highs and lows” of her stint on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” touching on “the aching hours of practice, the biting criticisms, and the thrill of getting to the show’s finals.”
Last month, Amazon.com briefly posted a listing for the book, but quickly removed it.
That listing provided few details except that the memoir – priced at $25.99 – would be 304 pages long and put out by Morrow, the same publisher that has handled Sarah Palin’s two books.
