Actress Portia de Rossi wanted to take her spouse Ellen’s last name and now its official. Portia de Rossi is now officially Mrs. DeGeneres. How cute!
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted her wish on Thursday. The name change petition states that de Rossi’s new full name is now Portia Lee James DeGeneres.
“I am thrilled to legally adopt my wife’s name. I will continue to use Portia de Rossi for professional purposes,” Portia said in a statement.
