Funnyman Martin Short is dealing with a tragedy tonight: his wife Nancy Dolman has died. A representative for the grieving actor confirmed the sad news to RadarOnline.com Monday evening, which reports that Dolman passed away at the couple’s home in the Pacific Palisades. Though the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to an emergency call at the actor’s address on Saturday morning, Radar reports no one was taken from the house to the hospital at that time.
Dolman had suffered from cancer since being diagnosed in 2007, when doctors discovered a tumor and performed surgery. The cause of her death has not been made public. The longtime couple, who had been married for 30 years, met in 1972. They have three children together: Katherine, 27, Oliver, 24, and Henry, 20.
Dolman, a Canadian actress, retired in 1985 to be a full-time mother. source
