Lindsay Lohan has been released from rehab after just 22 days according to reports. Lohan, who was originally sentenced to spend 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in UCLA’s drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility, signed discharge papers on Tuesday afternoon. She began her stint in rehab on August 2 after an early release from jail. The actress had a court hearing scheduled for Wednesday to discuss the possibility of an expedited release, but lawyers reportedly worked behind the scenes to orchestrate her early exit.
Lohan was whisked out of the Los Angeles rehab center and taken home in a chauffered limousine, Radar reports, in an escape engineered to avoid media attention.
After her release, Lindsay is reportedly set to continue outpatient treatment at UCLA several times per week.
And watch out, New Yorkers. Lohan is also said to be seeking permission to come to the Big Apple in early September, where mom Dina has said her daughter will be able to live a more healthy life than in Los Angeles. NYPD
