The former fiance of one-time U.S. vice-presidential candidate SARAH PALIN’s daughter is set to cause the family further embarrassment – he’s landed his own reality TV show about his campaign for the politician’s job.
Levi Johnston is the father of Bristol Palin’s son Tripp, who was born in 2008, just after the Republican lost her bid to become America’s vice president. Palin and Johnston called off their engagement following the birth, and despite a reunion the romance was short-lived – Palin dumped the hockey playing lover last month (Jul10) accusing him of using her and her family for fame.
Now Johnston’s notoriety has landed him a TV show – he will run for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, the job Sarah Palin held from 1996 to 2002. The series is the latest in a line of stunts by Johnston which have left the Palins red-faced – he famously stripped naked for women’s glamour magazine Playgirl last year (09). CM
