The Jolie-Pitt Foundation announced today (January 13) that it would donate $1 million to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières’ (MSF) emergency medical operations. The help comes in response to the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti yesterday.
Says Angelina Jolie: “It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades.”
