Russell Brand may finally be ready to settle down and have kids with pop star girlfriend Katy Perry.
“There was a deep craving within me – I mistook it for lust,” Brand, 34, told the British talk show GMTV. “I thought I was promiscuous, but it turns out I was just thorough – to get the right one. I’m ever so happy.” And when probed about marriage and children, Brand admitted, “That would be good.”
“I do want to have children,” he said.
He’s already one step closer to the tying the knot. Last week, Brand met his girlfriend’s parents during a trip to Austria, according to People.com. But despite the conventional route their relationship is taking, there’s still a steamy side to their romance. Perry scored major points with her British beau when she wore a corset and underwear emblazed with his favorite soccer team’s logo while hosting the MTV European Music Awards in Berlin last month.
“Wow. Now MY GIRLFRIEND has worn a West Ham basque while hosting the EMAs. What a day!!” Brand twittered.
